Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream Review

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

AUSTRALIS VELOURLIPS MATTE LIP CREAM is a 100% cruelty free Aussie made brand. This can be found in any Watsons in Singapore. Velourlips is a liquid-to-matte lipstick with a mousse-like formula. Its consistency is a lot similar to NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams.

PACKAGING:

Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream comes in a 10ml transparent plastic tube where you can easily see its shade. The name of the brand is printed on the body and a sticker with the name of the shade is placed at the bottom of the tube. Inside is a doefoot applicator that applies colour evenly and precisely. It also has a sweet, fruity-like scent (yummy).

FINISH:

Velourlips has a creamy to matte finish.

SHADE RANGE:

Velourlips has a wide range of colors; nudes, reds, pinks, oranges, neutrals, darks, browns and purples. I currently have 5 of their 23 shades; BUDA-PASH (vampy red), DOO-BAI (purply-red), BAR-THA-LONA (red-pink), NY-CEE (true red) & SHANG-HAI (purply-pink) (wink).

APPLICATION & REMOVAL:

These lippies are very easy to apply. They go on smoothly. It is also easy to remove but if you're wearing a darker shade, it will leave a stain on your lips. These lippies are not drying on the lips unlike the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lipstick. They are also transfer and kiss proof once dried down but will transfer after eating oily foods.
